I said I’d post a picture… and didn’t promptly do that. So, this one is delayed from Saturday.
Two of the most amazing friends a girl could ask for… I love these girls. Thanks a million for whisking me away for the weekend- keeping me distracted and making me laugh. I love spending time with both of you.

Kristen is one of my oldest friends in Chicago. We see each other somewhat regularly- but not nearly often enough in my opinion. She’s a wonderful old soul, funny, and a great friend. Spending even a couple hours with her is always so good. My soul feels aired out a little and I remember a little more deeply who I am as an individual.

I’m sapped. Hoping I’m not getting a bug- home a little early with some extra vitamin C & my cat. I miss my orange cat & the person who would normally take care of me while I’m not feeling well.
New day- I’ll take care of myself.

Today I met a very important person- Luciana Marie- the perfect, beautiful daughter of my friends Carolyn & Elisa. Babies are instant joy & love- especially ones who belong to people I love. They are already amazing parents- with an amazing daughter- making an amazing family.
Thank you again to Sarah & Norah for giving me a home & comfort for the weekend. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

No photo today- I’ll put one up tomorrow- I’m not on my computer. Spending the weekend in Madison at Sarah & Norah’s place. Though they are gone till tomorrow- they’ve generously opened their home to myself & two of my friends for a chance to get away while my life in the city changes. Enjoyed a low-key day today and looking forward to catching up with friends tomorrow.

As previously mentioned- Mandee lent me her car this week while she was out of town. So great to get in some driving time- and I’ve always loved driving her car! This little guy sits on the dash & keeps me company.
Thank you so much Mandee- for lending me the car- and more so, for being a great friend.

Keiko & I put clean sheets on the bed tonight- always a fun game. She hides under the sheet & is “invisible” and deadly.
Good to keep some routines the same.

One last cuddle with Carlos before Emily took him today. Love this cat. Now it’s just Keiko & me.
In other news- a wonderful friend is letting me use her car while she’s out of town for the week. I appreciate this generosity & the chance to get in some driving time.

Spending some time with the orange cat before Emily takes him. He’s a cuddler and insists on being your lap- especially if you’re trying to work.
